This recipe was shared with me and has been in my family for years. These are my family’s favorite cookies because of the texture and the combination of semi-sweet and white chocolate chips. Let them cool for a few minutes and devour them while they are still warm!

How To Make chocolate and white chocolate chip cookies

  • Mix dry ingredients
    1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Meanwhile, combine the flour, salt, and baking soda.
  • Wet ingredients
    2
Combine eggs, sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla.
  • Dough
    3
Mix together with a mixer until well blended.
  • Add flour to the dough
    4
Add the dry mixture to the wet ingredients, one cup at a time, until all the flour is mixed in.
  • Add chocolate chips
    5
Add the white and milk chocolate chips to the cookie mix and blend.
  • 6
Put a walnut size lump of dough on a greased cookie sheet and bake until the edges begin to turn brown and the center turns dull instead of shiny. Approximately 11-13 minutes.
  • Let cookies cool
    7
Remove from the oven and let sit for about 5 minutes until the cookie “sets up”. Then transfer them to a wire cooling rack.
