1 csugar

3/4 cshortening or butter

1egg

1 tspalmond extract

1 tspvanilla extract

2 csifted flour

1 1/2 tspcinnamon

1 tspbaking soda

1/2 tspsalt

1/2 ccocoa powder
-
1 canbanana,mashed (3 med.)

1 crasins
-
1 1/2 cu canchopped walnuts
- VANILLA FROSTING

3 cpowdered sugar
-
1/3 cbuttter, softened
-
1/2 tspvanilla

2/ 3 Tbspmilk
How To Make choco-banana cookies

1Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

2Cream together the sugar and shortening. Beat in the egg and almond and vanilla extracts. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cinnamon, baking soda, salt and cocoa.

3Gradually add to the creamed mixture alternating with the banana. Stir in the raisins and nuts.

4Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 8-10 minutes, depending on size. Let cool before frosting.

5FOR THE FROSTING: Mix together the powered sugar, butter, vanilla and milk. Add more milk if necessary to make the frosting a nice spreading consistency.
