How To Make carol's choc-oat-cran-chip cookies
-
Step 1Preheat oven 375 degrees. Combine flour, baking soda, spices and salt in a small bowl.
-
Step 2Beat brown sugar, butter (or crisco and butter) and granulated sugar in large mixer bowl until creamy.
-
Step 3Beat in eggs, milk and vanilla. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in oats, morsels, cranberries and nuts.
-
Step 4Drop by rounded tablespoons onto greased or parchment paper cookie sheets. Bake for 9-10 minutes for chewy cookies or 12-13 for crispy cookies. Let stand for one minute; remove to wire racks to cool completely. We cooked them 10 min. and make sure you use parchment paper or grease well, they will stick otherwise.
