- 1 cup buter (softened)
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 - eggs
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
- 2 1/2 cups oats, quick cooking (uncooked)
- One 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup chopped nuts ( optional)

Step 1Heat oven to 375F. Beat together butte sugars until creamy. Add eggs, milk and vsnilla; beat well Add combined flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in oats, chocolate morsels and nuts mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9-10 mins.Cool 1 min.on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack. Cool completley.
