For easy bar cookies: press dough onto bottom of ungreased 13x9 inch baking pan. Bake 30-35 mins. or until light golden brown. Cool completley; cut into bars. Store tightly covered.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup buter (softened)
  • 1 1/4 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 - eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional)
  • 2 1/2 cups oats, quick cooking (uncooked)
  • One 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped nuts ( optional)

How To Make choc-oat-chip cookies

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 375F. Beat together butte sugars until creamy. Add eggs, milk and vsnilla; beat well Add combined flour, baking soda and salt; mix well. Stir in oats, chocolate morsels and nuts mix well. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 9-10 mins.Cool 1 min.on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack. Cool completley.
