Ingredients
- 2 - eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- - 8-oz. pkg pitted dates, cut in small pieces
- - powdered sugar
How To Make chinese chews

Step 1Cream together egg and sugar. Add remaining ingredients and mix well Spread in greased 8-inch square pan. Bake in preheated 350 degrees oven for 20 minutes or until golden brown. While still very warm remove spoonfuls from pan. Roll in 1-inch balls. Then roll in powdered sugar. Store covered container in refrig. Makes 3 1/2 dozen.
