I love soft cookies, so I really love this recipe because they start soft, and they stay soft! My family and friends LOVE these cookies, they never stay around too long!

Ingredients

  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine or butter
  • 1/2 cup shortening
  • 4 ounces package of instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 1/8 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 medium eggs, beaten
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup white sugar

How To Make chewy chocolate chip cookies (bite size)

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour and baking soda in separate bowl and set aside. Mix brown sugar, white sugar, butter, shortening, instant vanilla pudding mix, vanilla and almond extract. Mix well until blended. Add beaten eggs. Slowly mix in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips by hand. Roll 1 1/2 inch balls in hands and add to greased cookie sheet. Bake for 9 minutes and enjoy!
