Ingredients
- 8 ounces semi sweet chocolate chips
- 3 tablespoons butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar, plus more for decorating
- 3/4 cup ground almonds or almond flour
How To Make chewy chocolate almond cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 325 degrees

Step 2Melt chocolate in double boiler or microwave

Step 3Stir softened butter into chocolate

Step 4Beat eggs and add sugar

Step 5Continue beating until egg mixture is light

Step 6Gently stir egg mixture into chocolate mixture

Step 7Add ground almonds, combining very well, but gently

Step 8Cover and refrigerate overnight

Step 9Form into 1 in. balls and roll in bowl of granulated sugar.
