Ingredients
- 2/3 cup crisco all vegetable shortening
- 1 1/2 cups packed light brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 - eggs
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/3 cup hershey's cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
How To Make chewy brownie cookies

Step 1Heat the over to 375 degrees.

Step 2Combine Crisco, brown sugar, water, vanilla in large bowl.Beat on medium speed until very well blended.

Step 3Beat eggs into creamed mixture.

Step 4Combine flour, coco, baking soda, and salt. Mix into creamed mixture until blended on low speed.

Step 5Stir in chocolate chips.

Step 6Drop rounded measuring tablespoons onto ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Bake one baking sheet at a time at 375 degrees for 7-9 minutes or until cookies are set.
