This is a recipe of my Grandma Robinson's, that she typed on a postcard when she lived in Monee, Illinois. Robin texted it to me 10-18-20.

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon powder
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup pecans
- 1 cup dates
- 1/3 cup maraschino cherries
- 2 1/2 cups cornflakes

Step 1Mix well and drop by tsp on a greased cookie sheet for 12-15 min in a 375 degree oven.
