cherry winkies
(2 RATINGS)
This recipe is a "family tradition" cookie especially for Christmas but can be made whenever you feel like a winkie. My MawMaw said that her Mother taught her to make them and has been going through our family every since. It is a moist cookie inside with a crunchy outside. It brings back many happy memories and I hope you make it one of your Christmas cookies..too.
