Ingredients
- 24 - maraschino cherries, with juice reserved
- 1/2 cup butter, softened not melted
- 3/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons half and half
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- - powdered sugar
- CHERRY GLAZE
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup reserved maraschino cherry juice
How To Make cherry bonbons

Step 1Drain cherries, reserving 1/4 cup juice for glaze; set aside.

Step 2Beat butter and sugar until light and creamy.

Step 3Stir in flour and next 3 ingredients.

Step 4Shape into 24 balls. Press each ball around a cherry. Covering completely.

Step 5Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake at 350F for 18-20 minutes. Remove from oven and cool completely.

Step 6Sprinkle with powdered sugar and drizzle with glaze. Combine all ingredients together to make Cherry Glaze.
