char’s chocolate chip cookies

I research each ingredients quantity and the effect it would produce in the development of this recipe. I was tired of waiting for the famous recipe I used to use to chill before baking a decent cookie. This recipe can be mixed and baked right away without the cookies spreading. The cookies remain soft inside but crispy outside. They are also thicker than what the other famous recipe produces. My family loves these cookies and I hope yours will too!

Add the flour 1 cup at a time, mixing until just barely mixed in and scraping down the sides of the bowl, if needed. After the last cup of flour is added, mix just enough to be sure it is all well combined. Pour the chocolate chips in and mix with wooden spoon or a heavy stand mixer.
