Ingredients
- CHAI:
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 - dash cardamom
- 3 - whole allspice
- 1 - dash cinnamon
- 3 - whole cloves
- BATTER:
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 2 - eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup cocoa
- 1/3 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
How To Make chai brownies

Step 1For Chai: Add all ingredients to a pot and bring to a quick boil. Remove from heat and let sit for 10 minutes. Strain into a large microwave safe bowl.

Step 2For Batter: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. To bowl of chai, add butter and chocolate. Microwave about 30 seconds until melted. Stir until smooth. Let cool for a minute so that eggs will not cook when added. Add eggs. Sift in remaining dry ingredients and mix until it forms a stiff batter. Bake in a 9 inch square pan sprayed with oil, about 25 minutes until set. Let cool, and cut into 20 pieces.
