CHAI:

1/4 cmilk

1dash cardamom
-
3whole allspice
-
1dash cinnamon

3whole cloves

BATTER:
-
1/4 cchocolate chips
-
1/4 cbutter, softened
-
2eggs, lightly beaten
-
1 1/2 cflour
-
1 csugar
-
1/2 ccocoa
-
1/3 cbrown sugar, packed

1 tspbaking powder
How to Make Chai Brownies
- For Chai: Add all ingredients to a pot and bring to a quick boil. Remove from heat and let sit for 10 minutes. Strain into a large microwave safe bowl.
- For Batter: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. To bowl of chai, add butter and chocolate. Microwave about 30 seconds until melted. Stir until smooth. Let cool for a minute so that eggs will not cook when added. Add eggs. Sift in remaining dry ingredients and mix until it forms a stiff batter. Bake in a 9 inch square pan sprayed with oil, about 25 minutes until set. Let cool, and cut into 20 pieces.
