Found this recipe card from my step-granny, Granny Grace Symes, from Saskatoon, Sask. She would probably faint away at the price of nuts these days, even the common peanut.

1 cup brown sugar
1 cup corn syrup, light
1 cup table cream (18%)
3 cups rice krispies
3 cups corn flakes
2 cups puffed rice cereal
1 package 10-cent pkg peanuts

How To Make cereal cookies

Step 1

Boil brown sugar, corn syrup and cream until spoonful of mixture forms a soft ball in cold water. Cool slightly.

Step 2

Mix cereals and peanuts together in a large bowl, pour on syrup and mix and pack in a flat pan.
Step 3

Let it set for a while then cut into squares
