cathy's crazy cookies
I call these crazy cookies, because with a glass of cold milk, they are crazy delicious! It's a good recipe if you want to make cookies to fill the cookie jar and still have a few dozen to give away.

Makes about 10 doz.
Ingredients
- 2 cups butter, softened
- 2 cups light brown sugar firmly packed
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 4 - eggs
- 4 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 6 cups quick-cooking oats
- 1 1/2 cups chopped walnuts
- 1 package chocolate chips
- 1 package peanut butter chips

Step 1Oven should be preheated to 325 degrees

Step 2In a large bowl, cream the butter, and both sugars until smooth.

Step 3Beat in the eggs one at a time. Then stir in the vanilla extract.

Step 4In a medium size bowl combine the flour, baking soda and salt; stir into the creamed mixture a little at a time, until blended.

Step 5Mix in the oats, nuts, chocolate chips, and peanut butter chips.

Step 6Drop by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

Step 7Bake at 325 degrees for 10-12 min. or until edges are slightly browned. Transfer to wire rack to cool.
