I haven't made these in quite some time, but they are delicious. I used mini chocolate chips on these also and were so good. Any candy topping would work.

Ingredients

1 c
all-purpose flour
1/3 c
packed brown suga
1/2 c
cold butter
1/2 c
chopped pecans
1
(8 ounces) cream cheese, softened
1/4 c
sugar
1
egg
2 Tbsp
milk
1 Tbsp
lemon juice
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract
1 c
m & m's minis

How to Make Candy - Topped Bars

Step-by-Step

  • 1In a large bowl, combine flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in pecans. Press crumb mixture into a greased 9-in. square pan. Bake at 350° for 12-15 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  • 2In a bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar. Add egg, milk, lemon juice and vanilla; mix well. Pour over warm crust.
  • 3Bake for 25-30 minutes or until set. Immediately sprinkle with M&M's. Cool on a wire rack. Cut into bars. Refrigerate leftovers.
