These bars are easy to make. You can substitute the peanut butter chips for butterscotch (which I like to do)if you would like.

1/4 c
butter, melted
1 c
graham cracker crumbs
1 c
chocolate chips
1 c
peanut butter chips
15 oz
can sweetened condensed milk
3/4 c
unsalted peanuts

How to Make California Gold Rush Bars


  • 1In a 13x9 pan, pour melted butter evenly. Mix in the crumbs with the butter and press evenly in the pan.
  • 2Sprinkle the chocolate chips, then the peanut butter chips. Pour the milk evenly over the whole thing. Sprinkle with peanuts. Press lightly.
  • 3Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Chill in pan on rack. Cut into bars.
