I love this recipe, its so versatile and fast to make! My sister Karen gave this recipe to me about 20 years ago and it has been well used..lol Enjoy! :)

Ingredients

1 box cake mix, any flavor
1/4 cup shortening
1 large egg
3 tablespoons water

How To Make cake mix cookies!

Step 1

Mix ingredients together to form a soft dough.

Step 2

Chill 10 to 20 minutes.
Step 3

Form into small balls or use a small scoop for cookie dough.
Step 4

Bake at 375 F for 10 minutes.
Step 5

Baking Tip - Cake Mix, may use any flavor. I like using "Lemon, Chocolate or add 1 teaspoon Mint Extract to Chocolate Cake."
