2/3 cup shortening (i use crisco golden)
2/3 cup butter or marg
1 cup white sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 - beaten eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
DRY INGREDIENTS
3 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
12 ounces chocolate chips

How To Make buttery chocolate chip cookies

Step 1

Preheat oven 375 Cream sugars,& marg/butter & shortening together add eggs & vanilla,mix in till blended

Step 2

add chips & dry ingredients in makes a heavy dough will make 6 or 7 dozen,cookies,(depending on size) I use a tablespoon to drop on sheet I get 7 dozen
Step 3

DO NOT bake more than 10 mins a batch drys them out
