butterscotch haystacks
(1 RATING)
I first made this receipe when I was in the 8th grade in homeconomics! I used to make it for my mom, dad and sisters when I was growing up! But when I got married and had my own children, I have made this receipe for them over the years, and it has been a favorite in our home!!! I have tried using chocolate morsels instead of butterscotch, and my husband likes the chocolate instead!!!

How To Make butterscotch haystacks

Step 1Line a cookie sheet(s) with wax paper, and set aside.
-
Step 2In a large Microwaveable bowl, pour the package of butterscotch morsels. Microwave on high for 30 second intravels(stirring after each intravel), until the morsels are melted and creamy. DO NOT OVERHEAT, because the morsels will burn!!!
-
Step 3Pour jar of dry roasted peanuts and crispy noodles in the creamy butterscotch mixture. Coat all the peanuts and noodles(you have to work fast, because the mixture will cool).
