Ingredients
- 1 cup vegetable shortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon natural vanilla
- 1 1/2 cups ap flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3 cups oatmeal
- 1 package butterscotch chips
How To Make butterscotch crispies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Step 2Cream shortening, sugar and brown sugar together in mixing bowl with paddle attachment. Mix until well incorporated and light and fluffy.

Step 3Gradually add in eggs and vanilla. Continue mixing on medium speed.

Step 4Mix together flour, salt and baking soda and gradually add to sugar mixture.

Step 5Add in Oatmeal and mix for an additional 2 minutes, then blend in butterscotch chips and remove from mixer.

Step 6Drop by rounded tablespoon onto greased cookies sheet and bake off for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
