butterscotch chocolate chip cookies (like no other)

The truth is, I have no sentimental story behind these cookies. I found this recipe in a cookbook that I bought at a yard sale a few yrs back. I made them ONLY becuz I wondered what the pudding added and boy ...... was I pleasantly surprised! EVERYONE asks me 4 this recipe! With that said "I CHALLENGE U 2 FIND A BETTER CHOCO CHIP COOKIE"

Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 cups softened butter
  • 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 (3.4 oz) boxes instant vanilla puddiing
  • 4 - eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups butterscotch chips

How To Make butterscotch chocolate chip cookies (like no other)

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Sift together the flour and baking soda then set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a large bowl, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix until blended. Mix in the eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture a little as a time as the batter gets really thick. Finally, mix in the chocolate chips and butterschotch chips. Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls or cookie scoop onto ungreased cookie sheets
  • Step 3
    Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown. Cool on a baking rack and ENJOY with a tall glass of milk!!!
