These yummy cookies were made with a boxes cake mix. They really are a delicious Butterscotch Chocolate Chip Cookie.

When I made these cookies, I used one of those Pampered Chef Cookie Scoops. The smaller cookie scoop to be exact. It was the Tablespoon size cookie scoop. I was able to make 45 cookies. Each cookie was between 2 to 2-1/4 inch in size.

Ingredients

1 box (15.25 oz.) yellow cake mix (with pudding in the mix)
2 eggs
1/2 cup butter, melted
1/4 cup (packed) brown sugar
1 tablespoon cocoa powder
1/2 cup butterscotch chips
1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chip morsels
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

How To Make butterscotch chocolate chip cookies

Step 1

Preheat the oven to 350°F.

Step 2

In a bowl add the cake mix, eggs, melted butter, brown sugar, and cocoa powder.
Step 3

Mix the ingredients together.
Step 4

Fold in the butterscotch chips, semi-sweet chocolate chip morsels, and the chopped walnuts.
Step 5

Line baking pans with parchment paper.
Step 6

Drop cookie dough by tablespoonfuls onto parchment paper.
Step 7

Bake in preheated oven for 14 minute, or until the cookies are golden on top, and being careful not to over bake the cookies.
Step 8

Place baked cookies onto wire racks to cool completely.
Step 9

Yields: 36 cookies
