Ingredients
- 1 - 15.25 ounces butter recipe cake mix (i prefer betty crocker)
- 1 - 3.4 ounces pkg instant butterscotch pudding
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 3/4 cup canola or vegetable oil
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 cup chopped walnuts, pecans, or mini-chocolate chips
How To Make butterscotch cake mix cookies

Step 1Wisk together the flour and cake and pudding mixes.

Step 2Mix in the oil, egg and vanilla until well blended. Stir in nuts, chocolate chips or a combination of the two.

Step 3The cookie dough will look very crumbly once well mixed. Scoop about a tablespoon of dough and roll it into a ball. (Latex gloves work great for rolling.)

Step 4Place balls on a baking sheet sprayed with PAM. Slightly flatten with fingers or the bottom of a glass.

Step 5Bake at 350° for 11 minutes or until the edges just start to brown.

Step 6Cool on baking sheet.

Step 7Note: If you are going to experiment with other flavor cake mixes and puddings, omit the extra flour.
