Butterscotch and Oatmeal Cookies
3/4 cbutter,room temp
1 cbrown sugar, firmly packed
1 tspvanilla extract
1 1/4 cflour
1 tspbaking soda
3 cold fashioned oats
1 bag(s)11 oz of butterscotch chips
How to Make Butterscotch and Oatmeal Cookies
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, beat the butter until smooth and almost fluffy, about 2 minutes. Add the sugar and continue beating until the mixture is light and fluffy, about 4-5 minutes. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat until smooth again.
- Bake for 10-11 minutes. Remove from the oven when cookies start to brown around the edges. Let them cool on the same tray for 5-10 minutes; this will allow them to finish baking without overcooking.
When the cookies are firm enough to handle, transfer them to a wire cooling rack and let cool completely. Serve warm or cooled. These Cookies freeze well!! Get a glass of milk and Enjoy!!
