Ingredients For butterfinger oatmeal cookies

  • 1/2 c
    butter, room temperature
  • 1/2 c
    dark brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 1/4 c
    sugar
  • 1 x lg
    egg
  • 1 tsp
    pure vanilla extract
  • 3/4 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon, ground
  • 1 1/2 c
    old fashioned oats
  • butterfinger candy bars (mini's or snack pack, cut in 1/2)

How To Make butterfinger oatmeal cookies

    Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

    In a large bowl, cream the butter, brown sugar & sugar together. Beat in the egg & vanilla.

    In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking soda, cinnamon & oats. Add the dry ingredients into the wet & mix just to combine. Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet. Press Butterfingers into cookie dough. NOTE: If using Mini's - leave whole & if using Snack Pack - freeze about 2 - 3 hours & cut in 1/2 when needed.

    Bake 12 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven & let cool 1 minute, place cookies on a wire rack & cool completely.
