butterfinger cookies

These cookies are soooo good. If you love butterfingers and/or love chewy cookies, then these are for you. I have been making them for a few years now...enjoy!!

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup butter, room temperature
  • 1 - egg
  • 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 package (8 count) mini butterfingers, crushed up (or more if you like more)

How To Make butterfinger cookies

  • Step 1
    Heat oven to 375.
  • Step 2
    Mix together sugar, brown sugar, butter and egg in a large bowl.
  • Step 3
    Stir in Flour, baking soda and salt. Mix well.
  • Step 4
    Stir in crushed butterfingers.
  • Step 5
    On parchment paper lined cookie sheet drop by teaspoon full (I like to use a 1 inch scoop, but whatever size you like them)
  • Step 6
    Bake 8-10 min or longer if you make them bigger until light golden brown.
  • Step 7
    Cool slighty, and store in an airtight container to keep chewy.
  • Step 8
    I have also tried with other candy bars but this was my favorite!! Reese Cups and Heath Bar are also good!
