16 ozsweetened flaked coconut

14 ozsweetened condensed milk

1/2 tspbutter flavoring
-
1/2 tsprum flavoring
-
1/4 tspgreen food coloring

How to Make Butter Rum Macaroon Nests
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a large cookie sheet.
- In a medium bowl stir together the coconut, milk, flavorings, & food coloring until combined. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto the prepared cookie sheet. Bake for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Gently press the back of a teaspoon into each cookie to make a slight impression. Place cookies on a wire rack. Gently press 3 jelly beans into each impression. Cool before serving.
- *Note*
Vanilla and almond extract may be used in place of the butter & rum flavorings.
