Ingredients

  • 1 c
    butter
  • 1/2 c
    sugar
  • 2 tsp
    vanilla
  • 2 c
    all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 c
    saltcocoa
  • 2 c
    pecans, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt
  • ·
    powdered sugar

How to Make BUTTER-NUT-COCOA SNOW BALLS

Step-by-Step

  1. Cream butter, sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Add salt and cocoa to flour. Blend thoroughly with creamed mixture. Add pecans, and mix well. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes in a 350 degrees oven. do not brown. Cool lightly , and while still warm, roll in powdered sugar, repeating process again. Makes 5 dozen
