  • 1 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup saltcocoa
  • 2 cups pecans, finely chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • - powdered sugar

How To Make butter-nut-cocoa snow balls

  • Step 1
    Cream butter, sugar and vanilla until fluffy. Add salt and cocoa to flour. Blend thoroughly with creamed mixture. Add pecans, and mix well. Shape into 1-inch balls. Place on cookie sheet and bake for 20 minutes in a 350 degrees oven. do not brown. Cool lightly , and while still warm, roll in powdered sugar, repeating process again. Makes 5 dozen
