Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 5 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- - confectioners' sugar
How To Make butter crescents

Step 1Cream butter; gradually add sugar, creaming well. Add water and vanilla. Beat well. Blend in flour, salt and pecans; mix well. Chill for easier handling, if desired. Shape dough, approximately 1 tbsp. at a time, by rolling between hands into strips about 3 inches long. Curve dough in shape of crescent or half moon. Place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 350* for 12-15 minutes. or until set but not brown. Cool; roll in confectioners sugar.
