This is a recipe I learned to make when I was 10! I tweeked it to make it diabetic EACH COOKIE HAS: 133 CALORIES 15 GRAMS CARBOHYDRATES 1 1/2 GRAMS PROTEIN 7 1/2 GRAMS FAT 11 MILLIGRAMS CHOLESTEROL 98 MILLIGRAMS SODIUM 15 MILLIGRAMS CALCIUM

Ingredients
- 3 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 3/4 teaspoon sea salt
- 2 sticks plus 2 tbsp room temp butter
- 7 tablespoons splenda/brown sugar blend (packed)
- 7 tablespoons splenda/sugar blend
- 2 large eggs (slightly beaten)
- 1/2 tablespoon warm water
- 3/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups chocolate chips
How To Make bunyan's diabetic chocolate chip cookies

Step 1Sift together flour, baking soda & salt, set aside for use in step 4

Step 2Cream the butter with a mixer for 1 minute @ medium speed, add the Splendas, and cream another 3 minutes until light & fluffy, scrape down the bowl

Step 3Combine the eggs and water, add to the creamed mixture, mix for 1 minute, add the vanilla, mix thoroughly

Step 4Add the dry ingredients, mix only until the ingredients are completely combined.

Step 5Add the chocolate chips, mix on low speed until the chips are completely combined

Step 6Drop by tablespoons on ungreased pans

Step 7Bake @ 350 for 12 minutes

Step 8Take the cookies off the pans while still warm
