Ingredients For bunuelos

  • 2 lg
    eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1/4 c
    butter, melted
  • 3 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp
    granulated sugar
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • canola oil, for frying
  • cinnamon/ sugar mixture

How To Make bunuelos

  • 1
    Beat eggs until foamy; add melted butter and milk. add flour,baking powder, sugar and salt. Knead dough and form into small walnut size balls. Roll into thin pieces and fry in the hot oil until crispy. Place on paper toweling to drain. Now place in a paper bag with a mixture of cinnamon and sugar and shake up to coat.
