Ingredients
- 28 ounces (2 cans -14 oz. ea.) eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
- 1 pound flaked coconut (about 5 c. not packed)
- 2 cups cut up of ground walnuts
- 6 tablespoons baking cocoa
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 teaspoon red food coloring, optional

Step 1Cover cookie sheets with foil the grease and flour foil; set aside. Mix together in a large bowl the coconut and cocoa, then add all remaining ingredients. Drop onto prepared cookie sheets by the Tablespoonful and slightly flatten. Bake in 325^ oven for 15-17 minutes or until golden brown Remove from baking sheets immediately; If they spread apart squish together- the coconut will hold together.( I always squish them anyway) Cool on wire rack. Store loosely covered at room temperature. --- Note: If desired, decorate mounds with 1/2 red or green cherries before baking.
