These blonde brownies are the easiest dessert you'll ever fix! I promise! You won't even need a mixer!They don't stick around long!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 c
    butter flavor crisco
  • 1 Tbsp
    milk
  • 1 c
    brown sugar
  • 1
    egg
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/2 c
    chopped walnuts

How to Make Blondies

Step-by-Step

  1. In saucepan melt Crisco with milk. Remove from heat. Stir in sugar, egg and vanilla.
  2. In small bowl mix dry ingredients together. Add to saucepan, stirring by hand. DO NOT USE A MIXER! Stir in walnuts.
  3. Spread mixture into a greased 8x8 pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 27-30 minutes. Cut into bars when completely cooled.
