Ingredients

  • 2 2/3 cups flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup butter
  • 1 pound brown sugar, light
  • 3 - eggs
  • 6 ounces chocolate chips
  • 6 ounces butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup pecans

How To Make blond brownies

  • Step 1
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together and set aside.
  • Step 2
    Melt butter and brown sugar in saucepan; cool.
  • Step 3
    When cool, add eggs, one at a time.
  • Step 4
    Add flour mixture; add chips and nuts last.
  • Step 5
    Spread in a jelly roll pan; bake at 350 for 25-30 minutes - Do not overcook; batter will be very thick.
  • Step 6
    Cut in squares when cool.
