How to Make Black Cookies
- Set oven for 350 degrees.
Melt shortning and chocolate in a double boiler, over low heat till thoroughly melted, or in a medium microwave safe bowl for 3-4 minutes on medium high heat.
- Stir in the sugar, beat in each egg after adding, beating well. Blend in flour and cashews. Chill dough overnight.
- Drop by rounded teaspoonfuls on a lightly greased cookie sheet. When finished baking, allow to cool on wire racks. Enjoy slightly warm with a cold glass of milk!
