I remember having blonde brownies for the first time when I was in high school and loved them so much that I came up with this recipe which seems pretty close to the taste I remembered.

Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup heath english toffee bits
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla ext.
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet white chocolate chips
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- 1/2 cup semi-sweet white chocolate chips for top
How To Make bj's blonde brownies

Step 1In medium mixing bowl whisk together flour, baking soda, & salt.

Step 2Using mixer.... cream butter, light brown sugar, granulated sugar, & heath bits. Add eggs, vanilla, & continue mixing until smooth. Add flour, baking soda & salt mixture a little at the time & continue mixing until well blended.

Step 3Add chocolate chips, white chocolate chips, almonds, and mix well. Spray 9" X 13" pan or coat with butter. Spread mixture in pan & top with remaining white chips. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 25-30 min.
