biscotti (seeded)
In our Italian family, this dough is the basis for most cookies...we put fig inside, wrap into basket shapes around our Easter eggs, and my favorite, instead of fig is the almond pie filling my Grandma W always made for me!

Ingredients
- 1 cup crisco or 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 cup less 1 t sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- - milk as needed
- 2 - eggs, save 1 egg white for seeding
How To Make biscotti (seeded)

Step 1Cream shortening and sugar, add eggs and vanilla. Add flour and powder. If needed, add milk to make dough easy to handle. Refrigerate 2 hours. Work dough, then form into bars or 's' shapes. Dip into egg white then seeds. Bake at 375 degrees 10 min.
