all purpose flour
1 Tbsp
baking powder
1/2 tsp
2 stick
butter, room temperature
1-2 c
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 c
heavy cream
2 c
sesame seeds

How to Make Biscotti Regina (Italian Sesame Seed Cookies)


  • 1Preheat oven to 350.
  • 2Combine flour, baking powder & salt in small bowl & set aside.
  • 3Cream butter & sugar until fluffy.
  • 4Add eggs one at a time with mixer running until smooth.
  • 5Add vanilla & beat in.
  • 6Next add flour mixture & beat until well mixed.
  • 7To form cookies, divide dough in half and roll into logs. Cut into 3 inch lengths.
  • 8Dip each piece of dough into cream & roll into sesame seeds.
  • 9Place cookies on baking sheet & bake til golden brown, 15 to 20 minutes.
  • 10Let cool & serve.
  • 11They will keep in airtight container for about 2 weeks.
