Ingredients
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 medium egg
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
How To Make bettys gingersnaps

Step 1preheat oven to 375.

Step 2in mixing bowl, beat oil with sugar. beat in egg and molasses. the dough can be quite sticky.

Step 3using 1 teaspoon per cookie shape dough into ball. place on lightly oiled baking pan sheet and flatten with the palm of your hand.

Step 4bake for 12-15 minutes. let cool on cookie sheets or racks.
