~ best no bakes ~

When I was lead cook at local hospital, this was one of the recipes in large quantity, that we constantly had to make for the cafe! They flew off the shelf. I halve the recipe for my family, and here it is!

Ingredients

  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • About - 1/4 or little more, quick oats out of a 2 lb container

How To Make ~ best no bakes ~

  • Step 1
    In a dutch oven over med heat, stir together the sugar, butter and cocoa. Keep stirring and bring to a rolling boil. Once boiling starts, set timer for 3 minutes.
  • Step 2
    Remove from heat and beat in peanut butter and oat. I use not quite half of a 2 lb container, or until desired thickness. Quickly drop by spoonfuls onto parchment paper. Work quickly as they will start setting up fast. Cool and enjoy. Place on covered container for storage.
