Ingredients

2 lbcandied pineapple

2 lbred cherries, candied

1/2 lbdark raisins
-
1/2 lbgolden raisins

3 cchopped walnuts
-
1/2 cbutter
-
1 1/2 cbrown sugar

4eggs
-
1 tspcinnamon
-
1 tspallspice, ground
-
1 tspnutmeg, ground

1 tspcloves, ground
-
1/2 tspsalt
-
3 tspbaking soda
-
4 cflour
-
1 1/4 cbrandy or orange juice
How to Make BEST EVER FRUITCAKE COOKIES
- Mix dry ingredients tother, then add the fruit, nuts, and butter.
- Mix eggs with fork to break yolks and mix with whites, then add them to the brandy (or O.J.)
- Add the liquid mix to the dry mix.
- Batter will be VERY stiff. Drop by teaspoons full onto cookie sheets. (I use parchment covering on the cookie sheets.)
- Bake at F300 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Yield should be about 10 dozen cookies. There is just enough batter to hold the fruit and nuts together.
