my mom used to bake these for us when were little and they are still good as ever

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup oil
  • 3 small eggs
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup coconut, flaked
  • 1 cup dried cherries
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup almonds, slivered
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips, mini

How To Make berry good for you cookies

  • Step 1
    preheat oven to 350. in a large mixing bowl, combine oil, eggs, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla. beat ingredients until well mixed.
  • Step 2
    in a small bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt. add to oil mixture and stir until just combined.
  • Step 3
    stir in rolled oats, coconut, cherries, cranberries, almonds and chocolate chips. mix well.
  • Step 4
    form dough into 1 inch balls and place about 2 inches apart on nonstick cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. flatten slightly with fork. bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Step 5
    cool for 2 minutes on baking sheet and then remove to wire rack to cool completely.
