Ingredients

  • 3 1/3 c
    all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    (2 sticks) unsalted butter, at room temp.
  • 1 c
    granulated sugar
  • 1/2 c
    dark brown sugar (packed)
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla

How to Make Basic Cookie Dough

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 350. Sift flour, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
    Combine butter, sugar, and brown sugar in seperate bowl, and beat with a mixer until well combines. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
  2. Gradually add flour mixture and beat until evenly blended. Dough can be wrapped in plastic wrap and refrigerated up to 3 days.
