Have I told you how much I love banana bread? Well, ALOT. These are another cookie swap cookie from last year. They have banana, oatmeal, chocolate chips and walnuts. The flavors are a great blend. Everyone raved about them. If you like banana bread you will love these cookies.

Ingredients
- 1 cup mashed ripe banana (about 2 small bananas)
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/4 cup softened butter
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups quick oats
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup mini semi sweet chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
How To Make banana with friends cookies

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine the 1st 5 ingredients in a large bowl; Mix on medium speed until smmoth. Add egg; mix well.

Step 2In a medium bowl add flour, oats, baking soda and salt, stirring with a whisk. Add dry ingredients to the banana mixture. Beat at medium speed until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.

Step 3Drop batter by heaping tablespoons 2" apart onto baking sheets coated with cooking spray. Bake for about 12 minutes until golden. Cool on pan for a few minutes, then remove and cool on completely on wire racks.
