This is my Mother Gerry's recipe from when I was a kid! Always great to use up those ripe nana's with!

Makes about 5 to 6 Dozen
Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 2/3 cup shortening
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 - eggs
- 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup bananas mashed ( 2 or 3)
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon ( i sometimes add more)
How To Make banana drop cookies

Step 1Mix first 4 Ingredients and then add the Mashed Banana's mix well. Measure out your flour and I add to that my baking powder,soda and salt. Add this to your mixture of wet ingredients.

Step 2Mix together the 1/4 Cup of Sugar and the 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon.This is your topping

Step 3Drop Mixture by teaspoon full onto a non greased cookie sheet. Then top with the sugar cinnamon mixture. Bake in a preheated 375 degree oven til set and lightly browned around edges.
