chocolate cake mix (with pudding)
1/2 c
butter, melted
1 c
chocolate chips
1 1/2 c
nuts (pecans)

How to Make Baboon Chocolate Caramel Nut Bars


  • 1Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Melt the caramels plus 1/3 Cup of the evaporated milk, 3-4 minutes in the microwave. Stir every few minutes to not burn. When melted, leave in microwave to maintain the heat level.
  • 2In a large bowl, mix the remaining milk, cake mix and butter. Press HALF of the cake mix into a "Pam" sprayed 9 x 13 baking pan. Bake 8 minutes.
  • 3Sprinkle the chocolate chips, 1 cup of nuts over the crust you just baked. Top with the melted caramel mixture. Try to pour evenly about the pan.
  • 4Top with spoonfulls of remaining cake mixture,sprinkle with remaining nuts. Bake 16-18 minutes. Cool, Cut into bars.
