Aunt Liz won a blue ribbon with these. You can make the cookie part and freeze them till you want to use them. Don't freeze them with the jam already inside. Make sure you freeze them in a flat container.

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup butter crisco
- 2 sticks butter (room temperature)
- 3 1/2 cups flour
- 2 - eggs
- - pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- - seedless raspberry jam
- - confectionary sugar for dusting
How To Make aunt liz's linzer tarts

Step 1Cream butter and crisco with sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and beat till combined. Add flour and salt.

Step 2Put in refrigerator for about 2 hours.

Step 3Roll on floured furface about 1/4 inch thick. Cut with linzer cookie cutter.

Step 4Bake at 400 degree oven on cookie sheed sprayed with Pam till very light brown.

Step 5After they are cool fill with jam and dust with confectionary sugar.
