1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 cup shortening
3 - beaten eggs
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
2 cups oatmeal
2 cups special k cereal (or corn flakes)
1 cup coconut
1 cup nuts (your choice)
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How To Make aunt helen's farm cookies

Step 1

Preheat oven to 425 degrees

Step 2

Cream sugars, shortening, and eggs
Step 3

Add all other ingredients in the order given.
Step 4

Drop by spoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet.
Step 5

Bake for 8 - 10 minutes or until light brown.
