1/2 cbutter, softened

1 pkg3 ounces cream cheese, softened

1/2 capricot preserves

1/4 cpacked brown sugar

1 Tbspmilk

1 1/4 call purpose flour

1 1/2 tspbaking powder

1 1/2 tspground cinnamon

1/4 tspsalt
- FOR THE FROSTING
-
1 cpowdered sugar
-
1/4 capricot preserves
-
1 Tbspbutter, softened
-
1-2 tspmilk
-
ground nuts or flaked coconut
How To Make apricot cream cheese drops

1In a large bowl, beat the butter, cream cheese, apricot preserves, brown sugar, and milk until blended. Combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt; gradually add to cream cheese mixture and mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 350F for 8-10 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.

2For frosting, in a small bowl, combine the powdered sugar, apricot preserves, butter, and enough milk to achieve desired consistency. Spread over cooled cookies. Sprinkle with nuts or coconut.
